Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) is a lemon-scented herb that comes from the same family as mint.
Add whole lemon balm leaves to green salads, or a fruit salad for added zesty flavour. Lemon balm also goes well with poultry. Try adding sliced leaves to chicken salad fish dishes, and even vegetable dishes to serve on the side. Lemon balm can also be steeped for a refreshing tea.
