Cavendish strawberry, is a June bearing strawberry plant that originates in Nova Scotia, and is the result of a cross between two varieties known for their winter hardiness and beautiful large fruit. It produces high yields that ripen over a long growing season. Excellent for fresh eating, canning, freezing or drying.
